CENTER OF GRAVITY

 

Center of Gravity is a community based, early care and education program in Pleasant Hill, CA. They provide programs for infants to Kindergarten age children from 7:00 am to 6:pm, with a focus on STEM.

 

A support partner since inception, Haven of Hope provides fiscal sponsorship, strategic planning, and operations support for the organization as it moves seamlessly from start-up to full operations.

MAMACITAS CAFE

 

Mamacitas Cafe is a women owned and youth operated enterprise that proudly hosts the Mamacitas Employee (ME) Leadership Training Program for Oakland girls.

 

A support partner since inception, Haven of Hope provides fiscal sponsorship, strategic planning and operations support for the organization, providing critical guidance as it continues to scale.

LENDING LIBRARY PROJECT

 

The Lending Library Project seeks to improve the quality of life for people often left behind.

The project has developed a non-invasive light-therapy device intended to ease discomfort in people living with chronic and acute pain.  The Lending Library Project’s goal is to provide these therapeutic devices to practitioners in under-served communities at no charge.

ROOTS OF LABOR BIRTH COLLECTIVE 

 

Roots of Labor Birth Collective (RLBC) believes that everyone deserves a doula, regardless of one’s ability to pay. RLBC serves low-income and communities of color, offering compassionate physical, emotional, and informational support to those members of our community who are most vulnerable to systemic oppression.

THE JUSTICE COLLECTIVE

The Justice Collective’s mission is to support changemaking and changemakers to be more effective, impactful and connected to the communities they serve. Areas of expertise include Organizational Development, Impact and Sustainability; Equity, Diversity and Inclusion; Training, People Development and Internal Processes; and Policy and Civic Engagement. 

PREVIOUS PROJECTS

IGLOW

 

iGlow seeks to restore the self esteem and resilience of previously incarcerated women to increase self-sufficiency and break the cycle of intergenerational incarceration. Mothers and children will maximise their potential to become valuable contributing members of society.

ALAMEDA PUMP TRACK

 

Fiscally sponsored by Haven of Hope, the Pump Track will provide an outdoor biking adventure experience on the West End of the island of Alameda. This will reclaim part of the old Naval base providing a safe recreational space for Alameda Youth.
